Random Word Blends for Choosing the Right Business Name

Random Word Blends for Choosing the Right Business NameChoosing the right business name is the good way to start your business. In a world where there are many variations of names, prose, and business services it is important to make sure you find a name that is unique to you and your business to brand as your own.

Perhaps your business is in its inception phase, meaning while in this stage, you are still working on finalizing some ideas. This is the process of visualizing, planning, and development of the type of business you want. It is also the time in which you are making decision on the direction you plan for the branding of your business. By the end of this phase, the business should have at least a tentative name. There is no rule that sets this into stone; however, as a business owner destined for more day-to-day decision making to come, you want to at least complete this portion of your process.

In this article, we will be performing a run through of some suggested ideas to use when choosing a name for your business. Choosing the right name from the start is important, because once the name goes public, it may be difficult to go back and change it later. We have provided some simple suggestions that have been tested and learned through experience.

There’s no requirement that says you have to choose a name that seems common or even make sense to others. Take a chance. Select some random business names for testing and trial runs. Although were going random, we also want to make sure, the business name signifies the nature of your work or the specific line of business you are catering to. Names that give no clear reference as to the type of business or nature of the work are often overlooked. Unidentifiable business names take time and research to figure the nature of the business. Be considerate and do the work for them by making the meaning of the business obvious within the name. For example, Joe Smith, LLC, tells us nothing about the business or what it is they do and risk potential customers not taking the time to find out. Same with promoting your business online, not only should the name be original, it should provide some indication as to the nature of the business. Do choose a clever name. People like thoughts that trigger ingenuity.

Go beyond how you feel or what you think. Step out of your comfort zone by allowing others in. Surveys are a great way to ask others for their opinions, thoughts, and ideas. Remember your customers and clientele are not you, therefore the focus and attraction should be towards gaining potential and new customers and increasing the audience of those that are interested in your market.

Add a little research to your process. Venture into words from other languages and try some random blends. Generate intrigue and curiosity. If interesting enough, some will wonder and others will even ask, Where did you get your name from or what is the inspiration behind your name? Be sure to choose a name with substance; a name that when translated in your native language, sounds magnificent, has valued meaning, or essence. For example, Savvy Writer in Spanish is Savvy Escritor, in Latin is Writer Xenium and these are just to name a few for ideas. Google Translator (translate.google.com) is a great tool for testing random words in other languages.

Etymologies are also a great way to stimulate name ideas. Etymologies are not exact meanings or definitions, but are origins. Origins of words can be found in resources like an etymology dictionary or book. Etymology books can be found at the Library or in book stores. Online resources include etymonline.com, oxford.com, or ipl.org

The industry of business is not easy. It is a world of complexity, strategy, and risks. The ideas presented in this article will hopefully help get you started as you work towards finding your perfect name for your business. Remember as you go, there are no rules when it comes to finding the naming convention; any idea may be the perfect one. Imagination is limitless and all things are possible!

Article Marketing and How It Works

The process of Article Marketing works by a large number of Internet Marketers in wide variety of niches. This has been repeatedly proven. However, those who have not ever attempted article marketing tend to think that it is harder or more time consuming than it actually is.

Starts by writing an article. This can be done by yourself or you can hire a ghost writer. The cost of ghost written articles is usually less than $10.00 for a 300 to 500 word article. It is important that the article be informative and related to your niche. The article should not sound like a sales letter

At the end of the article, you include your resource box. A resource box is simply information about the author, and it usually includes a link to the authors related website, a link to subscribe to a newsletter, and possibly even an email address to contact the author. If your article is ghost written, you are still the author.

Underneath the resource box, you type a statement giving others the right to reprint the article for free, as long as they do not change it and keep your resource box attached. This allows others to help make your article viral.

Once the article is written, you should distribute it to as many article directories as you can find. It helps to also send the article to ezine publishers within your niche for consideration. You can find lists of ezines in the various ezine directories that are available on the Internet.

There is article-submission software that can be used to speed up submitting your article in. One example of this type of software is Instant Article Submitter at instantarticlesubmitter.com . There are also services that will manually submit your article to directories. This is highly recommended because many article directories do not allow and will not accept articles submitted with software. One such recommended article submission service is We Submit Articles at: wesubmitarticles.com

Submitting the articles yourself is a time consuming task. If you can hire someone else to do that work, you will have more time overall to concentrate your efforts on other marketing tasks, including producing more articles.

Creative Writing for Beginners

Creative Writing for BeginnersWhat is creative writing? Creative writing can be any writing, whether it is fiction, poetry or non-fiction, that is crossing the boundaries of professional, journalistic, academic and technical forms of writing. It is relevant to mention that writing for the screen and playwriting normally have their own programs of study, but they are accepted under the creative writing category too.

Now that we have clarified what is creative writing, we can continue with the next step – writing creatively. What is important for every beginner to know is that there is no such thing as inspiration. If one is waiting for the inspiration in order to start writing creatively, they will never start. It is extremely important for a writer to write on daily basis, even when they feel under the weather or they don’t feel like writing at all. The only way a writer can learn and become better is by writing.

However, there are certain techniques that can help in creating an effective piece of art, especially if publishing stories, writing novels and publishing books in general is your goal.

According to Natalie Goldberg, the author of the book “Writing Down the Bones – Freeing the Writer Within”, one of the major rules in writing novels and stories is “showing” instead of “telling”. What differs creative writing from other forms of writing is the usage of literary tools, such as style, viewpoint, descriptive words, tone etc. It’s been proven that showing and not telling is one of the most effective writing methods. So it is important to reduce the usage of the verbs “is”, “are”, “was” and “were” to a bare minimum.

Another rule of writing effectively is to use details whenever possible. The whole point of publishing stories and publishing books is to let readers escape from their everyday lives into another life, happening in a different place and time. The only way to achieve this is by using details. The most beautiful pieces of art will allow its readers to see the rainbow’s glowing colors or the little girl’s crying eyes. For example, instead of saying that a character is feeling tired it is better to say that his muscles are rebelling and demanding a break.

To conclude, a guide to cooking will not teach you how to cook until you try to do it yourself. It’s the same with writing. The above mentioned tips can be very helpful, but nothing can replace hours of hard work that are ahead of you, and the experience you will gain from it.

Non-fiction Examples

Non-fiction novels give accounts of actual events and people. Regardless of written dynamics for effect and interest, the information provided are claimed truths, facts, or real beliefs or ideas of others.

According to the Encyclopedia Britannica website, The American writer Truman Capote claimed to have invented this genre with his book In Cold Blood (1965). The book is about a true story, based on six years of exacting research and interviews with neighbors, friends, and victims of two captured murderers. In the story, a Kansas farm family was brutally murdered and the narrative of the story is given from the points of view of different characters. Another example of this type of writing is the book Hiroshima (1946), which is an account of the World War II bombing of the Japanese city. The journalistic account is told through the histories of six survivors.

Tips for writing Non-fiction

As you write, separate facts from fiction and opinion. Remember as the writer, you have the power to chose which facts to present, which can drive the direction of opinions and the final picture of the overall composition.

Know your purpose. Purpose is the reason for the writing or what you hope to accomplish with the writing. Think about the message or information you would like to share? What are the facts you intend to explain? What is the picture you want to present to the reader?

When writing be aware of your tone. Tone is the overall expression of the writer’s attitude and can easily change the nature of a composition from fact to fiction if tone is misused within the composition.
